News & Announcements
PEF Division 357 Members
This is a reminder that petitioning for the 2025 PEF Convention in Lake Placid starts Monday, March 17th. All stewards, former delegates, and interested members are encouraged to attend the convention and download the petition from the PEF Elections site on Monday.
You will need three (3) signatures from PEF members in your office. I recommend that you get six (6) in case some are disqualified. Members must have been a member on March 6th to qualify to sign for you and they must be dues paying ITS PEF members. Members may not sign more than one petition, so ask them if they have signed for anyone else.
You must get supervisory approval to attend prior to submitting your petitions.
The convention runs Sunday to Wednesday. We will have a Division meeting on that Saturday. If your supervisor has questions, they may reach out to me on Teams or at my PEF email. If you feel they have denied your participation without good cause, reach out to an officer immediately. They may deny your attendance for operational need, but it is a VERY rare instance that they cannot find coverage with 6+ month's notice.
If you need help getting signatures, reach out to the officers.
This year we are Constituency #408 and we have 70 seats allocated. We want all 70 seats filled, so encourage other members to join you!
If you have any questions at all, please reach out to me, Christopher.Ford@pef.org .
Thank you for your time and consideration.
